How can I stop my dog from licking his paws raw after grooming?

My almost 2 year old maltipoo licks his paws a lot especially after I take him to grooming. He licks them to a point where his skin gets red. Is there anything that I can do to stop him? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year and 9 months old | 10.8 lbs

Hi. Most pets link their paws due to allergies. I recommend talking to your veterinarian about allergies and medications for it. In the meantime, you can give a children's benedryl, 12.5 MG twice daily. Good luck.
