My goat has a lump and is limping after a CD&T shot. Is this normal?

We gave our goat his cd&t shot yesterday in the shoulder area. Today he has a firm lump that becomes squishy once it goes towards his front chest. He has a significant limp and is less active. The area is not warm to the touch.

It's common to see some mild swelling, tenderness, and even a palpable lump in the area where a vaccination was given. The soreness usually resolves within 2-3 days, but the lump itself may take up to 3-4 weeks to resolve. If it persists longer than that, or if it opens up and begins to drain pus or some other material, I would recommend having it checked by a vet as this would not be expected as a normal vaccine reaction.
