My cat fell, broken leg suspected, vets closed. What do I do?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 5 months old | 7.055 lbs

My cat just fell down the stairs and was screaming loudly i think her leg might be broken because she doesnt walk on it. All the vets are currently closed as its late at night. She doesnt want me touching her shes getting feisty. What should i do???

If there's is no emergency vet in your area all you can do is confine her to a small area so she doesn't do any more damage to the leg. Take her to the vet at first chance. Try your best to find a 24 hour vet.

    Poor Jack! I'm sorry to hear that he's hurt. There should be an emergency clinic somewhere in your area, even if it's a bit of a drive - so I would recommend taking him there tonight for an exam and x-rays. If you're not sure where it might be, try calling your regular vet's office (or any clinic in your area, if you don't have a regular vet) and letting the call ring through - their voicemail message should have contact information for your nearest ER, or an on-call doctor for emergencies. In the meantime, I would recommend keeping Jack as quiet and calm as you can so that he doesn't move around too much and make things worse. Then get him in the car and to the emergency vet as soon as you're able to.
