Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 4 years and 1 month old

I just got home from work and my dog has vomited twice in the last hour it's is clear except there is one or two pieces of grass in each vomit, he seemed a bit strange and was standing beside me instead of getting into bed (it's 11pm at the moment) do indeed to get a vet as I'm not sure there is one at this time available

Sonetimes dogs get a bit of a tummy upset called gastritis. It can be caused by eating something rancid or an infection. Sometimes they simply have too much acid. Eating grass is a sign the tummy is sore. He will likely be a little unsettled but if he is not continually vomiting I would let him rest overnight then take him to the vet in the morning g if he is still poorly. Don't feed anything At the moment.
