Hey. I have a kitten that is losing weight, very tired all the time. She eats & drinks very little. She has a crusty butt & it protrudes a little. We got her from the shelter in May. She was eating adult food. She was maybe 3 wks old. She was tiny. Then she got bigger & was thriving. We started giving her kitten food & she was eating a lot better. But the last couple of days she has been doing nothing but sleeping.no playing or anything. Help please!!!

I'm sorry to hear that Gemma isn't feeling well. A kitten that is not eating or drinking and is acting lethargic should be seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible. Kittens can become dehydrated more quickly than an adult pet. It is possible that she has an infection or ate something that is making her feel ill. Your veterinarian will examine her and may recommend bloodwork to determine what is going on.
