Mars keeps biting me, and other people. Even if we reach down to pet him, he'll bite us. He gets food and water and love and treats and toys, should I try something new? Should I try to do something when he bites? I give him toys while he's biting me but he'll just look at my hand and jolt forward to bite me. He doesn't care too much for toys anymore. He still bites. I just want him to feel safe & not bite me/ other people.

This type of behavior could escalate. Cats can be very complex animals and to figure out what their triggers are can be difficult. It could be Mars needs more interaction, stimulation his environment or something else is going on. I would recommend consulting with a trainer that is from familiar with cats as that would be your best bet going forward. They may come to your house to do an evaluation and see if they could figure out any simple steps for Mars's biting behavior. I will caution that if you are bitten by a cat and it breaks the skin you need to see your healthcare provider as they can become infected quite easily.
