My dog pees when mad or in kennel. How to fix this behavior?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 60 lbs

I've had my dog going on 3 years now, and she still refuses any of my attempts to train her. She is, in my opinion, one of the worst mixes (pit bull, labrador, and doberman), but we love her and won't give up on her. She seems to relieve herself anywhere she wants (even on our beds-_-) when she's throwing a tantrum, and does the same in her kennel whenever we have to put her in there. We try to make it comfortable and put dog beds in there for her, but it doesn't work. How can we fix this???

I'm sorry you are going through this. In her case, it sounds pretty dramatic. I would get her involved with a trainer, possibly even one that you send her to. Getting her spayed will help as well. If those don't work, you may need to see a veterinarian who specializes in behavior to help. Good luck.
