Why isn't my French Bulldog pooping after diarrhea, but acting normal?

Pet's info: Dog | French Bulldog | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 4 months old | 23 lbs

My french bulldog had diarrhea 2 days ago, last night he passed small stringy thin bowls and hasnt went since. He seems to be fine by the way hes acting. Still playing, running, and eating/drinking as normal.

If your dog was having frequent diarrhea it is possible the intestinal tract was emptied out by this episode and there isn't much in the colon to actually poop out right now. If he is eating and drinking and energetic, I don't think this is an emergency situation, but I would continue to monitor Lou, and if he is still eating and doesn't start having bowel movements in the next 24 hours, or starts straining, becoming lethargic, vomiting or having diarrhea again, an exam is needed.
