My Basset has an unchanged skin spot. Is it hair loss? Should I worry?

I noticed this spot on my basset about a week ago and she still has it, unchanged. She has acted fine until today. Can you tell if I should be worried? Thanks! Pet's info: Dog | Basset Hound | Female | spayed | 37 lbs
