My dog has a hard bump on his nose. Should I worry or see a vet?

I have a 3 and a half year old mini pincher Chihuahua mix. He has developed a hard bump on the bridge of his nose. He is eating and drinking normally, and still has lots of energy. Should I be concerned? Should I visit a vet?

Good morning. The bump on Toby's nose could be due to a number of things including an insect bite, inflammation, infection or less likely, a tumor. If the bump is not resolving within a few days, if it enlarges or if Toby develops any new symptoms such as nasal discharge, sneezing or lethargy, he should be seen by a veterinarian.
