My Golden is overweight and hungry. What food & exercise options?

My Golden retriever is very heavyweight. My doc said him to feed only twice a day. But he is always very hungry . what food should we give him? And what are some exercises you would recommend? Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | 5 years and 8 months old

Some dogs do well with a calorie restricted diet food so they can eat larger amounts. Others respond to higher fiber diets. You could try either route with Rio and see how he does. Another option is to supplement his diet with raw carrots or green beans as they are low calorie and high fiber foods that may help him fill fuller between meals
