I rescued a puppy from off the street and he has a ball on the top of his head. I dont know if its a BB or something else. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered

This certainly could be a foreign object like a bb. It also could be a cyst, an abscess, or some other type of tumor. If it is a BB we usually do not remove those. But if it's a cyst or abscess or some other foreign material sometimes removal is recommended. As he is been a stray he needs vaccines and likely to be dewormed. At those appointments with your veterinarian you can discuss The next course of action for this lump.
