Why is my dog scratching, losing fur, and bleeding from scabs?

Hey my dog has a patch of skin that has lost fur and seems to be getting bigger at times. He itches it often, it bleeds when he itches it. He also keeps getting scabs on his upper nose area and top of head. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 180 lbs

My concern would be hank has a type of allergy. The most common types are food, environment or fleas. I recommend keeping hank on flea prevention year round. Most likely hank needs to go see a veterinarian for medication to fix his skin infection from scratching.
