Why is my 1-month-old kitten having hourly brown slimy diarrhea?

My about 1 month old female cat has had this reoccurring mucus slimy brown looking diarrhea about every hour; not daily. After she does her business, she drinks some water & starts sucking/kneading on clean pillows & blankets til she eventually falls asleep. I'm very worried and concerned for her, is she okay? :-(. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 11 days old | 5.5 lbs
