Why are my dog's inner eye corners always wet? Is she crying?

Below the inner corners of my dog's eyes are always wet. Is she crying? If not, why are her eyes doing that?

The most common cause of tears developing on the face on the inner corner of the eyes would be a problem the the nasolacrimal or tear ducts. These are tiny tubes that connect the inner corner of the eyelids with the nostril and in a normal pet tears that lubricate the eyes will then flow through these ducts into the nostril. If the ducts become obstructed then the tears spill over onto the face. I would recommend an exam at your vet to see if this is the issue. Sometimes the ducts can be flushed and reopened.
