Hi Thank you for your time. I have an exotic short hair cat. We've had her for three years. We wanted a friend for her as my wife and I work 8-6 Monday to Friday. So one month ago we got an exotic short hair kitten. He passed away on Monday and it broke our hearts. He was six months old. My question is, should we, in time, get another kitten? What I really want to know is, do exotic short hair cats prefer company of other cats or being alone is better? Thank you for your time. Grant. Hello Grant! I'm so sorry that you suddenly lost your kitten, what a terrible loss for you and your wife. Yes, I think Luna would like having a companion in the home, and when you are ready, I would recommend getting another kitten for the home.
