My kitten is throwing up, has bloody diarrhea, and not eating much.

My kitten was healthy and at 13 weeks took him to the vet for first shots. Now he has been throwing up 1 or 2 times a day every 3-4 days,still rambunctious but not eating much. Tonight he ate some canned food and within an hour has started to throw up again, he also has a bit of bloody mucus and diarrhea in his stools. Can you tell me what might be wrong. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 16 days old | 3 lbs

It sounds as Pixie is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
