If Stella's nails get too long, you can trim them. This will prevent snags and injury. If you've never done it before, have your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating pocket pets show you how to do it first.

    Wrap her up gently in a fluffy washcloth. This should allow you to clip her nails safely. Do one foot at a time with rest in between to minimize stress. Offer a small treat and praise after each foot is done.
