Should I give my Pomeranian Imodium for diarrhea and hypothyroidism?

Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | spayed | 20 lbs

Can I give my Pomeranian Imodium for diarrhea? She weighs about 20 lbs and has hypothyroidim. If yes, how often and are there any serious side effects I need to watch for?

I wouldn't recommend that as sometimes diarrhea is due to an infection and it is the body's way of ridding itself of the infection. If the diarrhea continues, is bloody of Juna has any vomiting she needs to be checked out by her veterinarian. Sometimes a bland diet helps, other times antibiotics and/or fluids are needed for more serious cases.
