Why is my senior female dog leaking pink fluid and swollen?

I have a 13 year old chocolate lab.She is dribbling a thick pink milky fluid.She is swollen like when she's in heat,but it is very hard.I know this because I try to clean her.This has been going on for quite some time.We don't know what's going on that she's gotten this nasty issue.Our neighbor says her golden retriever did this when she got old.There are other issues.Cataracts, arthritis,respiratory,fatty tumors.Yet shes still such a loving darling.Please advise Sincere Thanks Maria.
