Hello, my dog keeps making strange noises like he's getting hurt when he's asleep I wake him up and comfort him as soon as I notice but it's mainly on a night and I've started to notice there is dribbles of urine on his blanked near him when he's doing this, he asleep hasn't been eating aswell recently I'm really worried I don't want to loose him I keep over thinking it as I lost my lurcher last year due to a tumour on his kidney what is wrong with him?

Hello! Dogs will often vocalize (barking or whining) during deep sleep, since they do dream. If he is easily woken up, and doesn't make these noises when awake, then he is probably dreaming. However, dribbling urine during sleep may indicate that Patch has a urinary tract infection, incontinence, or other urinary tract illness. It would be a good idea to have him checked out by your vet and have a urinalysis done to be sure. Hope this helps!
