My dog ate tree food by accident and now he doesn't have much of an appetite. Does the tree food cause any problems? What should we do?

Tree food, depending on the brand and ingredients, can cause toxicity issues or even just an upset stomach in pets. I would recommend taking Bubba in to your local vet for assessment and treatment with medicaitons (anti-nausea medication, antacids, antibiotics, etc) to help his GI tract (stomach and intestines) recover. The vet also may want to consult with ASPCA pet poison control to determine if the ingredient in the tree food he ate will pose any additional toxicity concerns that need to be treated for as well. If you cannot get him in rigth away, then feeding him a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice or cottage cheese can help his stomach settle down somewhat. I hope Bubba is able to make a full and speedy recovery. Best wishes.
