My cat is vomiting pink/yellow liquid and won't eat. What's wrong?

Hi Dr, My cat has vomited many times since last night, at first there was some food in the vomit but now there is only slightly pink and yellow liquid in it. She refuses to eat, she seems tired but I don't think she's in pain. She doesn't have diarrhea either. Yesterday I fed her with a special meal (a Vietnamese cuisine made from beef, rice and some noodles) which is different from what she normally has. However, she had this kind of meal several times before and she didn't vomit or get sick. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 9 months and 11 days old | 2 lbs

It sounds like your cat is having some issues which could be related to the Vietnamese food you fed it last night or cats can get something call triaditis which is inflammation of the pancreas, liver, and small intestine and gallbladder. Because of the frequency of vomiting and the likelihood that its blood that you're seeing in the vomit I recommend your cat see a veterinarian as soon as possible.
