What to do if my parakeet's head is bleeding after a rabbit bite?

I don't know what or how this happened but my rabbit just attacked my parakeet. He bit him in the head and I don't know how deep it is but it is bleeding. I can not take him to a vet because the only place that can treat avians is not open at this hour so could someone please tell me what I could do to help him. I am very scared that he will die and I do not want to lose another one of my babies this year. Please give me an answer as soon as possible! Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male | unneutered

Apply direct but gentle pressure to the wound with clean gauze or a clean washcloth. Have Alec examined at the nearest veterinary ER for further treatment and supportive care. The doctors there should be able to stabilize and treat him until your avian vet is available.
