My cat's neck is oozing clear liquid. Could it be related to worms?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

When we found my cat she had worms. They were removed but since then she's had this weird oozy neck. It's just one spot of her neck that becomes wet and oozes with a colorless liquid. The worms were removed and she seems fine. She's healthy, not in pain at all. It's just her neck oozes a weird liquid. I don't know of it a from where she used to have worms or what.

Poor thing. I don't know if this is related to worms or not, as I don't know what type of worms, or what treatment was involved. I would say with how this looks, the area needs to be rechecked, clip, cleaned, and treated. In the meantime, you can clean it with a moist warm washcloth and apply newsporin ointment tonight, and then get her in tomorrow
