My Pomeranian was shaved. How to stop her scratching and kitten bites?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | 10 months and 24 days old | 11.0321 lbs

The place where we live is now very hot in summer so i thought to cut my Pomeranian's hair so that she can get relief in the summer... But mistakenly, I've shaved all the hairs from her body by which her own nails or teeth hurts her while she itch her body herself.. And before my 2months old vaccinated kitten could not be able to bite her because of the hairs but now she bites and scratches my Pomeranian which bleeds a little... Due to which i can't even keep my kitten and my dog together

You will need to place an e-collar (cone) on Queen to prevent biting or chewing. A small tee shirt or booties can be used to prevent scratching or pawing. You may need to use these items until the fur grows back.
