Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 15 days old
I got a kitten about a week ago! The kitten is 7 weeks old. I've tried a few different methods for litter training but the kitten will defecate everywhere but the litter box- totally unsanitary. Ever since I got it, it seems to walk diagonal, it never cleans itself, and when it defecates, it's always liquid. I almost have to bath the kitten every time it uses the washroom because it gets it all over it's tail, bum, & legs! I'm really starting to worry! Diet: lots of water & kitten food

Hi. I'm sorry Mango is having trouble. His litter box issues are probably related to the diarrhea and he just can't hold it as most kittens naturally use the litter box. I recommend getting a veterinary exam for Mango. He may have parasites or a viral disease causing the diarrhea. Sick kittens won't groom either so homefully once he feels better he'll start grooming and won't need some many baths. Hope he's better soon!
