My dog is lethargic, won't eat, and won't move. Is it an emergency?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shorthaired Pointer (duplicate) | Male | 13 years and 1 month old | 50 lbs

My dog is lethargic, won't eat, does not respond to simple commands, and will not move without being carried... what should I do?

It's hard to advise you with this small amount of information, but if Bob is not moving or responding to commands or treats, I would take him in to your nearest emergency veterinary clinic for evaluation. They will check him out, and likely run blood work as a starting point.

    I'd have Bobi seen by a vet immediately. While it's good that he still eats and drinks, it's very concerning that he won't move. That can suggest he is in a lot of pain, and he does need to be evaluated by a vet right away. Only the vet can diagnose what is causing him to be unable to move and if there is any treatment for him. Best of luck.
