My dog has diarrhea from Rimadyl after tooth extraction. Stop?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 2 years and 8 months old | 32 lbs

My dog had a tooth extracted on Friday and was prescribed Rimadyl 75 mg. once a day and Precription Dier I/d food. I gave it to her yesterday and she's been having diarrhea since last night. Should I discontinue the Rimadyl?

Rarely Rimadyl can cause adverse side effects such as vomiting, diarrhea, liver issues and kidney issues.Olive's diarrhea may be unrelated but to be safe the Rimadyl likely should be stopped. I would also recommend contacting your veterinarian and be prepared to take her to an ER clinic if the diarrhea worsens or she has any vomiting
