My dog just pooped reddish jelly like stuff on my couch! What do I do? Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Female | spayed | 2 years and 6 months old | 19 lbs

This could be caused by a bacterial infection, Calli eating something abnormal like table scraps or a food intolerance/allegedly. GI parasites can also cause diarrhea. Some cases do fine with a bland diet and monitoring at home but others can become dehydrated and need further care. If Callie continues to have diarrhea, is not eating and/or drinking, or starts vomiting she needs to be examined by a veterinarian.
