It sounds as though Samson may have injured himself while playing at the dog park. He could have a sprain or strain of one of his muscles or ligaments in his joints. He may have over done it at the park and become slightly overheated as well. Make sure he has plenty of access to water and a comfortable place to rest for the night. If he continues being lethargic, limping and/or vomiting over the weekend I would recommend taking him to be checked out by your vet on Monday.

Poor Samson. Unfortunately, there are several things that can cause lameness/limping including but not limited to broken bones, muscle strain, ligament or tendon strains, infections, broken toenails, tick borne diseases and much more. Since he is also lethargic and not wanting to eat, I would strongly recommend contacting a veterinarian for an exam, diagnostics, and possible medications.
