Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 4 years and 2 months old | 8 lbs
My cat has a preexisting inflammation of the bladder. He is on prescription food. We've been away and had a pet sitter come in. He had been eating half can of the SO food in the am and half in the pm plus always dry food. There was a green spit up upon returning, larger than a quarter. The next day there were another two. They were fluid and looked nasty. He isn't as interested in food like before. He will regular can food. How much can I safely give him? What about the green spit up?

If he was prescribed SO food due to urinary crystals or stones that needs to be the only thing he eats. Any other food can predispose him to another bout of urinary inflammation or crystals. Feeding other food defeats the purpose of the Rx diet. The vomit may be from stress, different food, eating something he shouldn't have or some other underlying disease. If he continues to vomit I would make a veterinary appointment to get him checked out. Make sure that he is still urinating normally, that it's not urinary issues flaring up.
