Is spaying my female dog linked to incontinence? What causes it?

I want to spay Elaeira and my vet said when she reaches 1 year old. I am reading about incontinence what causes it?

Older spayed bitches sometimes have incontinence as they age. There is a product called Proin which is very helpful with this. You should not let worries about possible incontinence later deter you from having Elaeira sapyed. Unspayed bitches have a higher risk of breast cancer, so there are problems leaving her intact, too.
