Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 0.5 lbs
A wild cat got spooked when we moved our car and orphaned her 6 2-week old kittens. We have been bottle feeding them for 2 weeks. They are growing well. However, we have 1 kitten who has learned to suckle on his brothers' genitals. We have tried to break the habit. He is growing much slower than his peers. We are worried that he is drinking their urine causing a toxicity in his body. What do we do?

He will stop doing it as he will be able to see and hear properly soon. Urine would be eliminated through gastrointestinal system anyway (so it is unlikely it will cause major toxicity). In few weeks he will definitively grow out of it. Check his weight constantly to monitor weight gain. Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.
