Why does my puppy have a pink floating circle and eye discharge?

my Newfoundland puppy 4 months has a pink lifted circle floating in her eye. Her eye has clear and white discharge what is the problem? no yellow or frees puss. Pet's info: Dog | Newfoundland | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 17 days old | 50 lbs

It is difficult to tell from the picture what exactly is going on with your puppy's eye. If the area you mentioned is free floating and moving around you may try to flush the eye with some sterile eye flush and see if you can flush it out. If the lesion is stationary it could be an area of infection or a foreign body in her eye and it that case I would recommend taking her to see your vet where they can perform a full opthalmic exam.
