Can my cat take Gabapentin and Phenobarbital together for seizures?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 8 lbs

My cat is 14 she has had head shaking fir a while but its getting worse. Cet says shes having fits. She is supposed to be contacting a colleague re treatment. Cat on gabapentin for arthritis so shes thinking if giving her phenobarb but wants to ensure she can take both what do you think?

Oh, poor Flossie! According to the pharmacology of both medications, there should not be any problems with Flossie taking both at the same time. Some medications can increase the effect of phenobarbital, so keeping in contact with your vet about the dose you are giving will be important. Best of luck!
