My cat has an ear polyp and is wobbly. Will surgery help him?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 7 years and 9 months old

hi there ive been told my male cat nearly 8 yrs has a cauliflower polyp,hes scratching,wobly,had meds bit betta.very worried for snuggles as he was treated for two ear infections now his ear has no wax again , but on a second visit & another look im told this,will he be ok if the polyp is just removed?your information has been awesome&very helpful on this site,as Im in timaru nz ive been told he may had to go for a scan&opp 2hrs from timaru Christchurch new Zealand, this is a concern2.

Poor Snuggles! Although surgery can be quite tricky, most cats make a full and complete recovery with resolution of ear problems and return of balance. You should discuss the risks and benefits with the operating surgeon but surgery is generally indicated where cats are having ongoing ir recurring symptoms
