This question is more for my in law than for myself. She has a 4yr old male cat who is FIV positive and isnt doing to well at this point and is no longer able to move and eat & drink...She wants to humanely put him down but she is low income so it is difficult...is there anywhere she can take him where it would be affordable for her? When he was injured outside by other cats early this year i took him to vet and got him fixed up to help her and that is where she got the diagnosis of FIV

I am sorry to hear about your mother in law's cat. Many vet offices will perform what is called a "humane euthanasia" at a reduced cost for an animal that is suffering so you may call to local vet offices to see if any of them offer this service. Other options would include animal shelters/humane society/ASPCA which often offer these services at reduced prices.
