Neutering may help this behavior. It can also decrease other male cat behavior such as urine spraying or marking. And if Simba is an indoor cat, urine of a neutered male cat does not smell nearly as strong as an intact male. In general neutered male cats tend to live longer healthier lives bc of less disease and injuries fighting.
