My dog snaps. How to safely transport an aggressive dog to the vet?

My patterdale keeps snapping at me everyday without fail im afraid to take her to the vet as she really hates other animals and im afraid she will attack them or me or somebody else any advice would be really helpful.

You could try to find a mobile vet that would come to your house to examine her. You could also get a cage muzzle and put it on her before taking her to the vet so she won't be able to attack another animal or person. You could also ask your vet for a mild sedation which might help, too.

    I am sorry you are experiencing this with your dog! It is difficult to say what could be the cause of your dog's snapping without more information. But I think it is clear that he/she should be examined by a veterinarian. Try calling your vet and seeing if they will give you some kind of sedative medication that you can give your dog, so that you can safely transport him/her to the vet. You can also try wrapping your dog in a big blanket or comforter to keep him/her from biting you while you put them in the car.
