My pug puppy has a stomach lump and stool issues. What's next?

i have a pug puppy nearly 45-50 days old.He is having problem in his stomach.He is experiencing problem passing stool so i took him to vetersn where he gave him enema after which he passed stool but still my pug is having problem and is lying quietly although he is an active boy.Doctor said that he has a lump in his stomach which needs to be diagnosed by a digital x ray.i want to know what needs to be done after getting diagnosed by an x ray.does he need to be operated and by what procedures??

It's very unlikely he has a tumor at his age, instead of an xray i would recommend having an ultrasound done (by a specialist), this has better chance of giving you an accurate answer regarding the condition he is suffering from. i'm not sure he will need surgery, it really depends on what is causing it.
