My wire fox terrier used to play and run around but when he gets up his b seems his back might be stiff

I am so sorry that your pup isn't feeling like himself. There are many things that can cause them to be stiff and not want to play as much such as but not limited to a hurt back, stiff hips or other joints, and even soft tissue injuries. I would strongly recommend you calling your veterinarian for an exam and possible diagnostics. They will want to do a full orthopedic exam and potentially x-rays. depending on what they find, they will likely send you home with a anti-inflammatory pain medication to make him feel better. I do not recommend giving any human over-the-counter pain medications (aleve, ibuprofen, etc) as these are usually toxic to dogs.
