My conure is sick: eyes closed, not eating, and lethargic. What to do?

My conure keeps closing his eyes and squinting. He seems lazy and keeps putting his foot on his head and resting it. He isnt eating much and doesn't poo as much. Is he ill and what should I do.

Your conure sounds ill and depressed. He may have an infection or metabolic disease going on. I strongly recommend you find an avian vet in your area to look at Henry. He likely needs to have bloodwork done to figure out what is going on and how to help him feel better. Good luck!

    Hi and thank you for this question, What you are describing are very general signs of not being well. It could be a disease, something painful, or any other abnormal condition. Knowing what is causing this would require another visit to the vet and likely some lab tests. I wouldn't wait too long with it as these are delicate creatures.
