Hi Sir, My 40 day old GSD pup, discharging light yellowish mucus from nose. What should I do. To us it looks like normal cold. But I am really looking forward to your opinion as it's really young.

It would be best to have Odin examined by your veterinarian to diagnose"simple" upper respiratory infection or something more serious such as distemper. If indicated, antibiotics can be started to treat infection or to prevent secondary infection. Your vet can also determine if supportive care is needed.

he is probably suffering from an upper respiratory infection, he is very young indeed and it could also be aspiration pneumonia which is a more complicated condition. either way you need to take Odin to the vet so they can check his lungs, he will probably need a course of antibiotics.
