My five month old pitbull has a large, bone like bump on the left side of her head. Its hard and shaped like her naturel skull, but it is much larger then the other side. Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 5 months and 2 days old

Hi I can see the swelling on Deijah's head. There are a few possibilities in a young dog : could she have bumped her head and now has a bruise swelling? Some skin cysts can look like this also. occasionally I see spider bites that develop into abscesses that can appear quickly. Does she seem painful when it is touched? If it's not going down in 1or2 days, you should take her to your vet for an exam.
