Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 3 years and 10 months old | 13 lbs
I had adopted a kitten that was sneezing. Now my resident cat is sneezing and coughing and has a runny nose. The discharge is clear, her appetite is good and there are no swollen lymph nodes. Does she need to go to her vet?

She does not need to go to the vet at this point. These upper respiratory infections are generally viral, so there are no simple medications that will clear the infection. If she gets lethargic , stops eating, or the discharge becomes green or thick I would call your veterinarian for an exam. Hope Ariel is back to herself very soon!
