Bloody urine in an uneutered male dog could be caused by stones in the bladder or lower urinary tract, or prostatic or bladder infections. Scrappy would need to be evaluated by a veterinarian for a diagnosis and treatment. And give that he is feeling so badly I would take him in right away. They will likely collect a urine sample and may visualize the bladder and prostate with X-rays or an ultrasound.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Kirby! It depends on the cause but it is semi urgent. Possible causes are: urinary tract infection, bladder stones, crystals, bladder tumor, prostrate problems like prostatitis, prostate infection, prostate cancer or he has a platelet or clotting issue. Just be sure he is passing urine. If he is staring without urine production that is an emergency. I would have him seen when your vet opens Monday. Bring a urine sample. A lot can be determine by an exam and a urinalysis. I wish you the best!

I would recommend taking him to a vet as soon as possible. Urinating blood and liquid diarrhea can be very serious issues. The bloody urine could be caused by kidney disease, urinary tract infection, bladder stones, bladder masses, cystitis, trauma and infection. The liquid diarrhea could be related to gastric upset, stress, trauma, infectious disease and parasites. He needs to see a vet for some basic test like a urine sample, fecal and possible x-ray to determine what the cause is and proper medications

Hi, The straining and painful urination as well as the blood in the urine may indicate a urinary tract disorder such as infection (very common), crystals/stones, neoplasia as well as prostate problems in intact non castrated males. I would recommend to take your dog to be checked by a vet and bring with you a fresh sample of urine. Unfortunately due to the lack of specific information about the wounds such as appearance, location and a picture I cannot answer this part of the question properly. You can try and post this part again with picture and more details. The irritation and painful urination can cause a dog to lick excessively the urogenital area which can lead to self trauma in the area so if the wounds located there and the dog is licking the area that may explain it.
