Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Male | unneutered | 20 lbs
Something is wrong with my 2 year old pug's eyes. The white part of his eye is red, the iris is surrounded by a thin white line all around, and over the iris and pupil is a bluish white and cloudy. On top of that there is some brownish red raised bumps. This has been getting gradually worse the last few months. We are scheduled to visit a vet soon but I want to be prepared for what they might tell us. He doesn't seem to be in any pain and his vision is still intact.

From the photos, my main suspicion is that at some point, Frodo developed a corneal ulcer or abrasion that has resulted in inflammation on the surface of the eye, followed by chronic scarring changes, such as pigmentary keratitis. With a thorough eye exam, your vet will be able to determine if any active corneal ulcers are present, check Frodo's eye pressure and tear production to determine if any other issues are present. I hope that all goes well!
