Hello. My dog was having bloody diarrhea due to antibiotics that he was taking for dermatitis. He started medication on Friday, now he's constipated, confused, and refuses to drink water. He's eating normally and peeing normally.. Could this be side effects or should I take him back to the vet? Here are the meds- metronidazole 500, Famotidine 20, Apoquel 16 (for allergies).

These could be side effects from the medication as well as it could be his GI tract is still recovering from the diarrhea. You should continue with your veterinarian's instructions and I recommend calling their office once it's open to make sure they don't want to alter any doseages.
