Why is my dog itchy, rolling, and his nose turning a different color?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year and 3 months old | 20.08 lbs

Constantly rolling on the floor and wiggling a lot more than usual. He seems to be itchy a lot lately. Im not sure why. His nose is also turning a different color. Looks a little dark brown now. I'm not sure what's wrong with him

There are many different causes for itching in a dog. If Boo isn't on a flea and tick preventative then those could cause him to be itchy. Some dogs are also allergic to fleas, so even one flea bite makes them itch all over. Food allergies or environmental allergies are all also possible. Make sure he is on appropriate parasite prevention and try bathing him with a mild oatmeal shampoo. If bathing and flea meds aren't enough it may be time for vet exam for some itch relief and to diagnose what is causing it.
